Blog Rules - Please Read

Blogs are a great way of sharing information with people from all over the world. We need to be mindful of some simple rules to make sure we are using the internet and our blog safely and effectively:

  • Use your first name only when posting - "Sarah" or "John" for example. No family names. This helps to protect your identity.
  • Relatives are also asked to use first names only, such as "Sarah's gran" or "John's dad".
  • Do not reveal personal information. This blog is to write about what you are learning in the classroom and at home.
  • No text talk. Write in full sentences and carefully check your spelling and grammar before posting your comments.
  • Be polite and respectful to other people. We all have different ideas and opinions which may not be shared by other people. We may also be at different points of our learning. Be mindful bloggers and positive about other people's contributions.
  • Remember - the rest of the world can see our blog. It is an extension of our school and you are expected to behave in the same way you should behave at school and at home.
All posts and comments will be read by teaching staff at St John's Church of England Primary School before being submitted to the blog.
If you are concerned about anything submitted to this blog then please speak to Mr McDonald, our class teacher.
