ReplyDeleteWe strongly think that Dukinfield baths should be knocked down and rebuilt,as it would cost less money than referbishing it.

I adamantly disagree with the proposal to shut down Dukinfield swimming pool.Lots of local citizens are losing the opportunity to learn the crucial life skill ,swimming . mysha & francesca
ReplyDeleteWe would like to keep Dukinfield pool open for we have weekly swimming lessons with school.Even though this new 8 lane pool sounds awesome it would be difficult to travel to and from school. We agree that it should not be refurbished as it would cost a lot-but you could always just build a new 'ducky baths' in its place instead of closing it down.

Rather all the hassle of rebuilding a new bath in the same spot of "Dukinfield baths",we strongly think that you should refurbish the pool as it is now. Also,it will save you from more traffic.

We think that having a new pool is a great idea but we think that it should stay in the same area and be rebuilt again. We also think that it's a bad idea because transport can be trouble for lots of people and we won't have enough space to exercise also children wont have enough space to practise swimming.

We srongly believe that it would be a good idea to rebuild the baths on the the same premises #SAVEOURBATHS

Dukinfield pool should stay open as the local people swim there and also if you closed it down it could affect peoples health and tamesides health isn't brilliant anyway so if you can keep it open or even build a new one in the same place as the one you knocked down.

We strongly think that Dukinfield pool should be knocked down and built again in the same grounds as it will be cheaper than being refurbished. We also think that that it is a bad idea to build one as it will be to crowded and people will lose their jobs.would you rather save money or save lives?

We think that Dukinfield swimming pool should be refurbished but stay in the same place. The other pools should stay the same but be refurbished as well.

We strongly believe that Dukinfield's community need a local pool:lots of people need to exercise and improve their health mentally/physically.Therefore you need to build a better pool in the premises that 'Duky baths' takes up.

We strongly believe that 'duki baths' should be knocked down we disagree that they should buil one big pool as it would not work for anyone they should build a better one in dukinfield #SaveDukyBaths
ReplyDeleteWe think that dukinfield baths should be refurbished for the most of the floor tiles are not very clean. If it shuts it down people will not be able to participate in the fun activities/lessons that are prepared for them.they should think of the poor people with disabilities it is good therapy for them.#savedukibaths

I think that 'duky' baths should get refurbished because most of the girls cubicle doors are all written on .Also I think they need to refurblish it and then build an other one.

Closing a local swimming pool hardly supports Tameside's Health and Well-being Strategy,Pennine Care's Health Improvement Programme or the National Obesity Strategy!

I love the way that there thinking of building a new swimming pool for everyone but wouldn't it cost more money to re-build one then refurbish one
ReplyDeleteBrodie L
i think that 'duky baths' should be kept open as it would help lots of children learn how to swim and one big central tameide pool would get too overcrowded and lots of people would have less pool time.
